Emotes

Most of our emotes have very descriptive names. For example, :admire: (Figure 1) can be used when you appreciate someone.

However, some emotes still cause confusion. Here's a clarification on one of them:

2-3 (figure 2) is an emoji that originated when an early user used to reply with 2-3 whenever he was asked about something. "When are you going on vacation?" "In 2-3 weeks". "How many times did you play Minecraft?" "Couldn't be more than 2-3 times". He made a point out of it to such an extent that it slowly but oh so surely became a meme.

As time went by, it gradually evolved into a mark of agreeing with the sentiment of the post you tag it with. It’s functionally identical to a “+1” or “Like” or “Thumbs up.”
